A puppy has different needs than a shelter dog who may have missed out on early training and socialization. Taking the time to find what works for your dog based on temperament, breed, and life experience is something I take very seriously. My role as your trainer is to not only find the best methods for teaching your dog, but to show you how to ensure lasting change in behavior and relationship.
Getting Started with a Training Plan Looks a Little Like This
1. Consultation: We'll begin with an in-person consultation ($185) where I assess your dog's behavior and make a recommendation for a training package of 5, 10 or 15 sessions ranging from $800-$2100.
2. Training Package: After your consultation, you can purchase sessions and schedule each at your convenience. Typically we will meet every 1-2 weeks for the duration of the training program. Each program will have a certain time frame after which the sessions will expire. This is because consistent training is needed in order to see results.
3. Group Classes: When your sessions are completed, or when the dog is ready to advance, you have the option of attending group sessions where you can practice social skills and obedience around people and other dogs.
4. Follow-Up Sessions: You also have the option of scheduling sessions after your package is complete.
